Check Direct3D

To verify that Direct3D is enabled, you must first run DXDIAG.EXE.  To do this:

1. Left click on the START button and choose RUN

2. In the Dialog box that appears type the word DXDIAG

3. Click on the tab labeled ‘Display’ and make sure the word Enabled appears to the right of Direct3D Acceleration.

 WARNING: If Direct3D Acceleration is not enabled and a button is not available to enable it, your game will not be able to run reliably.  Contact either your computer or video card manufacturer for assistance.
